Catching you up

I would have thought I would have been back here much sooner than now to keep you filled in on our eventful, never dull and full of surprises life. Especially after my most recent post I made after discovering things were up and running again. But making time has not been my strong point. After all I have only been preparing for baby number two, and chasing after my little guy. Those two things alone have kept me rather busy, I won't go into great detail about the rest :)

This post will be the first of several that I plan on making to bring you current. Or try to anyway. There is so much I feel like I am leaving out for having been away for so long. Hopefully this will paint at least a vague picture of the last several months. If anything enjoy the pictures!

Well I shared the news here that I was expecting baby number two, but a few months before that we learned that my Sister was expecting. Her and her Husband traveled a long hard road before this pregnancy. But I am Happy to say that the pregnancy was healthy and in the end they were blessed with a beautiful bundle of joy!!

In October of last year, we took a trip to Wyoming to visit some friends. It was such a great time. So good to get together with friends after so long and feel like there was no time that separated you. There life there is simple and charming, Their little cabin is small and cozy yet full of character and speaks so much of who they are. I took so many pictures while we were there, and wanted to share a few.
You havn't seen anything, until you have witnessed a real life cattle drive, right through the middle of town.

We made homemade apple butter!
There is quite possibly nothing that compares to the smell of apple butter simmering.

Now onto my Eli boy. He turned two in November and we had such a fun Birthday party together with a few friends and Family. Its so hard to believe that he is two already. Gosh time really flies. He is getting so big. He is so wippen smart sometimes it is just down right scary. He has grown so much, learned so much and accomplished so much over the last several months. But here are just a few pictures. I sure love this kid, he just makes me smile!!

We did a swim refresher this year for Eli. Hopefully even though we have a new baby coming we will be able to get a decent amount of pool time in for him.

These next few pics are so fun and captured such a great memory. Eli shot the BB gun for the very first time. I think its safe to say that Eli wasn't the only one proud here. And you have to love how he is looking down the barrel, Prob kinda hard to do when your eye is mashed right against the gun.

Love it!!
