The green bean experience!!

Very first bite of greenbeans, he seems a little unsure.

Okay very unsure!

Really, Mom!!! What is this stuff!

Please I can't eat another bite. 

How about that milk stuff, Momma, Remember...I like that!

It went from bad to worse.  

This picture says it all. His first experience with table food, well...not so good! Suprisingly enough, the second time around went great, and this boy loves his veggies now. He will usually give you a mmm mmmm with every bite.

This is a little video we did of his first taste of greenbeans, its not much. A few funny faces and a word of wisdom from Dad to Son. I am sure that having a little boy I will experience many more of those funny little talks between Dad and Son.

Sweet little feet!

Recently Eli has been crossing his feet. It is the cutest thing. First he started just crossing them as he sat in your lap, but then I noticed that he started doing it while he was sleeping. I love little moments like this.

They make me smile.

Just wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures that i've taken here recently. Sometimes I find that I can snap a hundred pictures and find only a few that I am happy with...and there are times that I can't decide which of them I like best.

Then there are the times (like the next picture) that are just simply priceless and I don't know how I got so lucky to catch the shot. But I am sure glad I did.

A new toy and a silly video.

We got Eli a Jump-a-roo recently and he loves it. I know this picture is blurry but I think it is so sweet.

Gunner on the other hand, not so much.
He would rather Eli not be hanging from the doorway. :)

Here is a little video of Eli jabbering away one day before we left the house. Every time I whip out the camera when he is doing something cute....he stops. So when i heard him talking I got the camera, took my place behind the couch and just when I thought that I was successful at being secretive....around about 56 seconds into it...i simply zoomed the camera in and he spotted me. 

Four Months Old

What a blessing this little guy is! Thank you lord for allowing my life to be changed in such a wonderful way :)

This is probably going to become a regular pattern of not being able to pick a favorite..so I am just going to save myself some time and post all of them. Enjoy!

Eli Shane you are 4 months old!

You have such a big personality. You are such a good baby and so happy!

You are still nursing every 3-4 hours And you are now eating cereal in the morning for breakfast.You are still sleeping great for me at night and taking a good nap during the day most of the time. You are very talkative and you are laughing so much. You just started recently giving kisses.

You starting rolling over and since then we can't put you down without you rolling. You roll from belly to back and back to belly. And if you are on your belly for any length of time you start scooting across the floor.

I think that you are trying to cut teeth, you haven't been too fussy or running a fever. But you have been a drool bucket and you have a couple dimples in your gums that are pretty soft.

You have figured out your hands very good and you have started to hang on to toys and plays with things.

Sometimes you will just reach out and put your little hand on my face. I love it and I Love you. ;)

Cell Phone Pictures

So..it's a long story but the point of it is that my phone took a dive of my pant pocket onto the pavement and well needless to say it didn't survive.
