Happy Fathers day!

I honestly don't even think there are words for how Thankful I am for you. I feel so blessed that you work as hard as you do for our family and that we share the same wants for Eli and our future children and the chance for me to stay at home would not be possible without you. You are a wonderful Daddy and we are so thankful for everything that you do.
This is where it all began!
I love this picture, you look so proud!

And this is the two of you now!

This Daddy got a very special Fathers Day gift. Eli said Da Da for the very first time a few days before Fathers day. And needless to say, Isaac was thrilled. I don't think that with all the money in the world I could top that gift.
I love my two boys.
Happy Fathers Day!

Seven Months Old

Here we go.. over the sixth month hump...Seven months old. This just means that we are that much closer to a year old. I am sure that I will blink and it will be here. In fact I'm sure that I will blink and he will be graduating highschool, college and having children of his own. I think you get the point! As hard as it is to see him grow so fast right before my very eyes. He is becoming his own little person and it is so fun to watch him learn something new everyday.

Eli Shane you are 7 months old! Your Daddy and I keep discussing how we just didnt realize how fast this time would go by. You change almost daily at this point and you are so very active. You are crawling everywhere and getting into almost everything. No has become a big part of our vocabulary to you because there are certain things that you have taken an interest in a few of them being Daddys guitar, you always crawl over to it and try to play with it on its stand also the fireplace. You are always trying to stand at the fireplace. We just don't want you to get hurt.
And usually you know when you arent suppose to be messing with certain things because we will say in a very stern voice... ELI! you always respond with...hmm. It is the cutest thing, and very hard to keep a straight face.

You are still nursing and eating about the same for the exception of we have been giving you more table food and have started to get you adjusted to a sip cup, you do okay with it and you have started to feed yourself much better. We started with puffs and have graduated to a few more things that you can pick up with your hands.

You are still waking up at night usually just one time but you still have your rough nights of up every two hours. And you still a pretty good napper for me during the day.
You are so happy, all the time, you rarely are every too fussy and I am so glad for that.

You weigh about 18lbs and you are about 28.5in long.

Memorial day weekend

We didn't have much planned for the Holiday weekend. Sunday we grabbed some subs and cold drinks and went to the beach again for the second weekend in a row, it was a great time. The water was nice, once you got in and got past the chill anyway. And I can't tel you how much Eli loves it. He is so content to just float in the water in his float. If you leave him in there long anough the waves rock him right to sleep. But it was pretty hot, and although he was lathered up with spf 50, we didn't stay in the sun long. But long enough to get some super cute pictures of him.

I love this picture, he looks so serious, but I love the ocean in the background.

This is Eli trying to eat the beach sand.

Trying once again.

Success! Not so yummy, huh?!?

He wasn't so sure when the water would rush up on him.

LOVE those chubby cheeks!

But once it happened a few times, he was okay with it.

And he started to smile and laugh when it would happen.

I am so glad that he loves the beach, because I see more of this for our summer plans.
