Six Months Old

This past month has been pretty crazy. Along with the everyday busy-ness. Eli has kept me pretty busy over this paticular last month. So needless to say it has been hard to find the time to sit down at the computer. And during his down time when he isn't such a busy body. I usually find myself cleaning, doing laundry or other house hold things that need my attention. So to make up for all the lack of pictures lately. I am going to post some extra shots. And a few video.
Eli Shane you are 6 months old!
You are 1/2 a year old. Which is just crazy that in 6 more months you are going to be a year.
OF course you are growing like crazy. Your personality is so funny. I love your laugh, its infectious. I can't help but laugh when you laugh. You do the funniest things now. Usually when you are babbling and making noise I will copy you and we just go back and forth forever. You have discovered that you can yell. Which isn't always the most pleasant thing but you are learning that you can make different noises.
Your eating schedule is pretty much the same for the exception of I have started to give you some foods that you you can try to pick up. You love to hold a carrot and chew on it. I am sure that it feels good on your gums. You haven't cut any teeth yet, but you are still drooling like crazy.
I try to keep a bib on you to keep your outfits dry, but it doesn't always work out that way. You are sleeping pretty good for me at night still with the occasional waking up and extra time. And you are still taking a few good naps for me during the day.
Height: 27.5 in
Weight: 17.12 lbs So close to 18
You make an attempt to grap everything...and I mean everything you can possible get you little hands on. You especially love the remote and telephones. And everything that you do get your hands on goes straight to your mouth.

Recently you decided that you were going to stand in your crib. And I say decided because it just happened. I put you down for a nap one day and next thing I know you were standing.

And you still love to stick your tongue out.. So Cute!

See what I mean about trying to grab everything in your reach.

And you still cross your feet ALL the time!

Another thing that you have mastered in the last month is sitting all by yourself. And along with the sitting and standing came...
Crawling!!!!
You are everywhere now. And when we are holding you, you just keep trying to get down. And if there is more than one person around you have also learned to lean towards people with open arms to go to them and you just keep trying different people to see who is gonna let you get down first. Smart boy.

Oh and your Daddy and I are official your new jungle gym, because along with the standing and crawling and sitting as if that isn't enough you are climbing. I am starting to wonder if we have been watching to much Curious George...and you are trying to be a monkey.

Look at you silly boy....trying to stand up from a crawl position. Now, now...don't you think that Mommy has endured enough changes in one month...lets just hold off on that for a while. I am already starting to feel like her little baby is gone.

We love you so much Eli, you sure are growing up fast. I just wish it wasn't going by this fast.

Last but not least, a few videos of him crawling.
