Picture Overload.

I'm not even sure how it's possible that so much time has passed since the last post. I'm not going to lie I have just been so busy with photography "stuff". Reading, understanding, soaking in, practicing, reading, researching, editing, practicing and on and on it goes. And busy shooting my very first ever paid session! Woohoo!! I was so excited and more than pleased with the results. It was a blast and I can't wait to do it again!

And not to mention in between all this time I'm busy chasing my little guy around, he's getting fast. Hopefully I'll be posting about him soon. He has been up to his usual.... growing and just getting too big too fast!

These very random, hodgepodge mixture of pictures are a month or so old but wanted to share. Enjoy!

T-Girl (photos)

We were surrounded by family over the weekend. Which meant a lot of practice time for me. Before my sweet niece went back home, we had some girl time. It was so much fun. And a plus was that I got these great shots! Enjoy!

Sweet Baby G (photos)

Great things really do come in small packages!
My first official photo shoot! YAY!

And just because he is so sweet, and I know that Baby G won't mind sharing her page with her big cousin. Here are a few of Eli I got afterwards, I think he was feeling a little left out and was letting me pose his hands, they turned out cute.

He'll make a good one!

Isaac's sister was down this past weekend and we had such a great visit. It was so nice to finally see the Baby. Eli was so good with her. I think he is going to make a great big brother when that day comes. He was so sweet to her and kept giving her kisses and hugs. He even hurried and came and got me once when she started crying, it was the sweetest thing. I have more pictures to share of Baby G. But for now I wanted to share these.

Fourteen Months

Eli has changed so much since his first birthday. He is more and more like a little boy than a baby everyday. This is sorta lengthy and I apoligize in advance, I just want to remember these things, I feel like this time is just flying by so very fast.

Teeth: On your first birthday you only had I believe 3 teeth, you now have six they came in not longer after you turned one, poor guy, but you were a trooper!

Health: On the subject of teeth, just after Thanksgiving we realized that your mouth was really hurting you, you got a stuffy/runny nose, I guess it could have been your teeth, but that turned into somewhat cold symptoms, after just getting over the strep about a month earlier, we went ahead and took you for a checkup, turns out you had a double ear infection.

Vocabulary: You of coarse are still saying Da da, and your Dad-dee recently turned into Daddy. You can say MaMa you just won't and you have said Mommy all of 5 times(pretty sad that I am keeping track of it) you still say see and no no. Some new words are: Gi gi(for great grandma), this, these, hey, you have said, deer, fish, baby and kitty, but I haven't heard kitty in a while and baby turned into ba buh. You have started copying a few words recently, bath, poop, poo poo. You say nu all the time, it is drink related and I think it might be your version of more, but sometimes it's nuice instead, but even if you are drinking milk you say nu, so we're not sure.

New Things: the first time you said hey, it was more like heyyya, and it was when I wore my reading glasses, you had never seen me with them on and you looked at me forever and finally said heyya, all night you would put your hands on my cheeks and say heyya. Now its more like hey, and you say it alot especially if someone is trying to do something or they are leaning over working on something you will lean over too and say hey. In doing that you learned to lean over and rest your hands on your knees, so cute. You have started putting your hands out to the side of your head and you will do it for I don't know and all gone. Everytime you do it you say uhhh and put your hands out. And you also started copying playing the tamberine but you play yours leaning over tapping it on your ankle, it is very funny. You point and say no no. When we do something you don't want us to do you clap your hands at us and say uhh uhh. You are very good at clapping your hands and you will clap for yourself when you do something good. You know where your eyes, ears, nose and mouth are. When we ask you where each are you point at them and usually say...thisss. When we ask were your mouth is you blub your lips.

Food/Drink: You are a good little eater, always have been. You love milk and juice, but the only way you will drink water is straight from the bottle. You are still avoiding most green things as far as veggies go, but you like salad. You love tomatoes, and you love bread, any kind of bread.

Music: You love music and you LOVE to dance, its almost as if your little body can't sit still when you hear music, you automatically start to dance. and recently you started to spin around.

Toys: you are very into bikes and things you can sit on to move around in.

Sleep: You are in bed most nights no later than 9:00 and you sleep until 8:00 usually sometimes a little earlier and sometimes a little later. You take one good nap a day from around 1-3:30 or 4:00

Favorites: You love your boots, you have a favorite blanket, and your a little attached to your binky but only for nap time.

Clothes/Shoes: You were some 12mo, but mostly 12-18 mo or just 18mo and a size 5 shoe. You wear a size 4 diaper.

Height/Weight: You are about 23-24lbs and I think it was a few weeks ago that your daddy made an attempt to measure you and you were around 31in tall.

Milestones: We started potty training and you are doing so good. Your first day you went pee pee on the potty 2x. the second day you went 4x. When we ask you if you have to go pee pee you run to your potty. The wait tim to hear a tinkle was around 5-10 minutes but the last few times you have gone you go pee as soon as you sit down. YAY!

This next picture makes me laugh out loud. We first got Eli's potty about a month ago after his birthday sometime. He was very interested in his new potty, so I thought we would try it out. He was fine until I took out the camera.
His face says it all, LOL! (taken w/phone)

Lets try this again! First day of potty training! Just went pee pee!
*And just a fyi, he doesn't get stripped down for every potty break, these just both happen to be before bath time, LOL!*
They say there is a window for that sort of thing, well I think we might have found our "window".

Twenty-twelve

Doesn't 2012 sound strange! At least it does to me. I was so ready for a new year! A fresh start, a clean slate, a whole new chapter with blank pages to be filled with all the wonderful new adventures that will come our way. I think the only goals I set for myself this year is; to get organized a little better, learn to start purging the things that seem to pile up that I never use, work towards becoming a good photographer instead of a great picture taker, and to be a better wife and mother. Hopefully at the end of this year I can look back and smile at my accomplishments! Here are a few pictures to jumpstart the new year.
